Recipes (it’s time for comfort foods and pumpkin-everything, yessss!)
Healthier Pumpkin Spice Latte – a traditional PSL from Starbuck’s contains DOUBLE your daily allotment of sugar if you’re an average height female (50 grams) and a whole meal’s worth of calories (roughly 300+).
Quick Peanut Thai Chicken w/ Broccoli Slaw – an easy to make favorite of our’s for a different Taco Tuesday
Mila is the cutest and has great advice 😉
Tip of the month: HOW TO HANDLE WANTING TO EAT FOR COMFORT
(sadness, pain, stress, anxiety, anger, disappointment)
✔️Insert natural need to self-soothe.
🍴Insert unhealthy habit:
my knee-jerk reaction was to skip to the kitchen and put together a comforting, warm, gooey cheese-filled quesadilla for a happy snack😋
⚡️Within 1 lightening quick second (because that’s all the time you have!)
🙅🏻I told myself “Find a healthy way to self-soothe!!!”
💭Mind blank. Still want warm melted cheesy quesadilla.
Google: “healthy ways to self-soothe that isn’t food”
*Chew sticks (*for humans lol)
I chose ☕️and did child pose while the water heated up. Then took it and ran away from the kitchen.
Anyway I can help?
